Tajweed

LMA will concentrate and spend a great deal of time on the rules of pronunciation of the holy Qur’an, rather than just follow the traditional formality of just completing the holy Qur’an without emphasising on the correct rules of tajweed.

By the end of this the students would have been coached and trained rigorously with a firm grounding to grasp the rules of tajweed and begin to apply them to recite the holy Qur’an fluently.

Students will:

· Understand what tajweed is
· Know which tajweed rule to apply where
· Know the Makhaarij (origins) of the Arabic alphabet
· Understand the signs of Wuqoof (stops)
· Be able to recite the Glorious Qur’an with the correct rules

The tajweed programme will entail the following:

  • The adaab of reciting the Glorious Qur’an
